Privacy notice

This explains what happens to the details you give us through this website. The short version: we use them to reply to you and quote for your job, and nothing else.

Who we are

MCM Design & Build is run by Mike Manwaring and is based in Lindfield, West Sussex. For anything about your data, email info@mcmdesignandbuild.co.uk or call 07488 298582.

What we collect

When you use the contact form we receive your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us: phone number, town, the type of project, your timescale and your message. If you call, text, email or WhatsApp us, we receive whatever you send that way.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, quote for the work and, if you go ahead, carry it out. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract. We never sell your details or use them for marketing lists.

Who else sees it

Form messages are delivered through our website provider, PageLaunch, which stores enquiries securely so we can respond to them. If you become a customer, we may share what’s needed with trades or suppliers working on your job, or with Building Control where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Customer records are kept for as long as we need them for guarantees, tax and legal purposes, normally six years after the work finishes.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
